OCPS principal selected as 2018 National Distinguished Principal for Florida May 10, 2018 – Catalina Elementary School principal Seth Daub was selected as the 2018 National Distinguished Principal for Florida, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education and National Association of Elementary and Middle School Principal (NAESP). The National Distinguished Principals program was established to honor exemplary elementary and middle school principals who set the pace, character, and quality of the education children receive during their early school years. Public school elementary and middle-level principals are nominated by their peers. The criteria for selection:
