City of Orlando Free Electronic and Household Textile Recycling Event
City of Orlando Hosts Free Electronic and Household Textile Recycling Event
WHAT:
The City of Orlando has partnered with A1 Assets and American Textile Recycling Services (ATRS) to host a FREE event for residents and businesses to safely recycle electronics and household textiles.
By recycling old or un-used electronics, Orlando residents can help prevent lead, mercury and other toxic materials from ending up in local landfills and harming the environment.
Recycling textiles keeps these items from taking up space in landfills and allows them to be repurposed for a variety of uses including insulation, industrial rags and thread.
Some items accepted include:
- Computers
