In 1910, The Salvation Army founder, General William Booth, wanted to communicate a message via telegram to his officers who, by then, served in almost 80 countries. Since telegrams were billed by the letter, General Booth sent just one word: "OTHERS". That one word expressed, and still expresses, the heart and soul of the army. Each Salvationist lives to serve "Others". It would be an honor to have you join us to hear messages of hope that make this community such a beautiful place.
