The Salvation Army Orlando Area Command
Director of Special Events & Promotions
With a background in Theme Park Entertainment and Special Events (33 years at SeaWorld Orlando!), I "retired" for one day and began a new calling to offer my talents to a non-profit organization near to my heart.
Having volunteered, served on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army for many years, including 4 years as Board Chair, I knew this leap of faith would be rewarding. From serving the community after a hurricane, to ensuring children receive gifts at Christmas, to handing a hungry man a meal, I see the struggles that many of our neighbors in need face every day. But, I also get to see the absolute best in humanity. I serve to better the lives of the men, women, children, and veterans who have found themselves without hope. In my role, it's an honor to tell the stories of those we serve to those who feel impowered to make an impact. Let's get connected!
