A little more than a decade ago, Ron Ben-Zeev wanted to address a specific problem: he wanted to build something that provided better shelters than tents after a disaster. Little did he know that his business would morph into entrepreneurial ventures ranging from real estate construction to tourism development to technology startups landing on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list of one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the US ranking No. 6 nationwide in the manufacturing industry.
With the success of delivering essentials in an austere environment anywhere, building three Clinics on Wheels equipped with telemedicine to Puerto Rico for AdventHealth and designing a portable dialysis center for nursing home patients for the Health Council of East Central Florida to name a few, could these units potentially help with our homelessness crisis or address the need for Affordable Housing?
