Davin D. Ruohomaki currently holds the position of Senior Director of Planning, Engineering and Construction for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA). Mr. Ruohomaki is focused on the implementation of the Strategic Plan and $3B Capital Improvement Program.
While at GOAA initially providing Program Management services, Mr. Ruohomaki led a team for assigned construction projects in which $100M+ of successfully completed projects were accomplished over five years at OIA (2008-2013). Prior to this role, Mr. Ruohomaki led the Program Management Contract for the $2B Orange County School Board/
Mr. Ruohomaki was formerly a Corporate Officer/Vice President of URS Corporation (URS) responsible for Florida Construction Management/Program Management (CMPM) operations and also further as the Business Line Leader for the Mid-Atlantic South and Latin America.
Previously, Mr. Ruohomaki served as a program manager at Henkels and McCoy, Inc. (H&M), designing and building the first Sprint
Mr. Ruohomaki graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the Virginia Military Institute in 1989 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He initially started his career as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army as a Battalion Staff Officer and transitioned early out to a large mechanical and well drilling firm in NJ. He went on to earn his Executive Masters of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida later in 2000. Mr. Ruohomaki is also a Florida Licensed Certified General Contractor.
