Todd Souders
Director of Store Operations
Wawa
Todd Souders is Director of Store Operations for all Florida Wawa stores. Wawa opened its first Florida store in July, 2012.  Currently, Wawa owns and operates 61 stores in the state of Florida with plans to open 25 in 2015 and 2016 and employs more than 2,000 associates. Wawa is a family and associate-owned, privately-held company. Todd has been involved in the planning of all initiatives related to Wawa’s expansion in Florida including training, staffing and community outreach.  He continues to be responsible for overseeing the management of all of Wawa’s Florida operations as well as playing a key role in the continued expansion in the State.
Todd has been with Wawa for more than 15 years.  He started his career as a manager trainee and went on to manage several Wawa stores in the southeast Pennsylvania market.  He went on to hold additional management level positions in both Store Operations and Marketing. Most recently, he was responsible for space planning and merchandising for the Marketing department.  He relocated to the Florida market in 2011.
Todd is proud to serve the Florida Wawa team and is committed to inspiring our associates to foster strong relationships in Florida while fulfilling the lives of their customers, every day by providing the highest level of service in the region. Todd also plays an integral role in championing Wawa’s commitment to community involvement, which has resulted in more than $1 million donated to local Florida causes since July, 2012, along with hundreds of Wawa associates playing meaningful roles at local charitable events.

Wawa’s company history began in the early 1800’s in New Jersey with an iron foundry and a cotton and textile mill, and eventually migrated to Pennsylvania with the opening of a dairy plant in 1902.  As supermarkets became more abundant in the early 1960’s, the concept to design and open Wawa convenience stores became a reality with the first store opening in Folsom, PA on April 16, 1964.  Today, Wawa ranks 38h on Forbes’ annual ranking of Largest Privately Held Companies, and also ranks among the top ten Employee Stock Ownership Programs in the country.
