Kim King, Business Development Assistant Manager
City of Orlando
In her current role, Ms. King serves as the main point of contact to help guide businesses through the City's various departments, regulations, and processes. Kim promotes and implements the City's business assistance programs and maintains relationships with partner economic development organizations. Ms. King also leads the Mayor's Business Assistance Team.
She previously served as Economic Development Coordinator with the City from 2004-2012. Before joining the City of Orlando, Kim was a National Urban Fellow with the San Jose Redevelopment Agency in San Jose, CA. Prior to that, she served as a Program Officer for Young Citizens, Inc. (formerly National Helpers Network, Inc.), a non-profit organization in New York City.
Kim received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Pomona College and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York. She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando, Class 83.
The East Orlando Chamber of Commerce (EOCC) & St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce (SCGOCC) presents our monthly Lake Nona Area Council.
The Lake Nona Area Council serves business and community members in Southeast Orlando to:
- * Raise awareness of our council
- * Support business alliances in our community
- * Provide support for our community through service
As an outreach arm of EOCC and SCGOCC, the Lake Nona Area Council works with both members and non-members in Southeast Orlando to support business connections through social and networking events that highlight the opportunities for growth in our community.
