In an effort to bring hope and inspiration to our Central Florida community and to connect job seekers with employers who are actively hiring during these unprecedented times, we are excited to share with you these pathways to employment and additional resources.
COVID-19 has caused the Central Florida job market to turn upside down. The biggest issue for the Central Florida job seeker is the fear of the unknown. This crisis is temporary, and many employers are hoping this crisis passes in a relatively short period of time. In the interim, people need to work.
To help organize jobs that are open in Central Florida, OrlandoJobs.com has created a virtual job fair. We are connecting with Central Florida employers to find out who is hiring and posting these current job openings here, in one place.
As important as the jobs, this virtual event will provide up-to-date links with vital information to help job seekers dealing with unemployment, furlough, layoffs, or termination. We will also showcase community partners who can help job seekers today with all types of needs. This includes food, financial assistance, counseling, blind services, transportation, and so much more.
We are all in this together, and first and foremost, please wish for excellent health. COVID-19 will be gone soon. As we deal with this, we thank all employers, community partners, and government agencies who all are coming together as a team so we can all get past this unprecedented time.
