Roger Colon
Program Director, Central Florida International Trade Office

Mr. Roger Colón is the Program Director of the Central Florida International Trade Office. Before joining the Central Florida International Trade Office (CFITO), Roger had an expansive career in international trade and investment both in the public and private sectors. In the public sector, he recently served as a business development officer at the Export Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). Roger also executed export development and foreign direct investment initiatives on behalf of the State Government of Yucatan in Mexico. He also worked in investment development at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), which is better known today as the International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), where he assisted US companies seeking foreign project finance or investment insurance. In the private sector, Roger was the international operations director for a multinational SME with business interests throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. Roger received both his BA and MBA from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. He is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), and he also holds a graduate certificate on startup funding, private equity, and venture capital from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School.
