Diaper Need Awareness Week

The Diaper Bank of Central Florida's mission is to ensure every newborn, infant and toddler in our community is supplied with the most basic need-diapers. Diaper Need Awareness Week is a nationwide awareness week aimed at spreading the word about diaper need and ultimately, leading to an end of diaper need. What is Diaper Need? Diaper Need is the struggle to provide babies with clean, dry diapers. Diapers are as essential as food and shelter. Yet, our government does not recognize diapers as a basic need. Diapers cannot be obtained with food stamps, and are classified with cigarettes, alcohol and pet food as disallowed purchases.
