Daryl Flynn

Topic: OCPS Lake Nona Area Update
Daryl Flynn is a native Floridian. She was born and raised in Sarasota. Daryl and her husband, Jim, moved to Orlando in 1988 and live in Waterford Lakes.
Daryl earned her BA degree from Florida Southern College and her Master of Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. She has been an Orange County School Board member since 2006. She is currently serving her third term in elected office.
Prior to joining the school board, Daryl was an active member of the PTA at the local, county and state levels for more than 15 years. She served as chair of her son's middle school advisory council and was president of the Orange County Council of PTA from 2001-2002. She is a past president of the East Orange County Kiwanis Club, a past committee chair of the East Orange County Relay for Life and currently serves on the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church board of directors.
Daryl's professional career includes environmental and emergency response planning, as well as conference meeting planning.
Coffee Club NONA, presented by The Lake Nona Area Council, meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month at the UF Academic and Research Center located in Lake Nona’s Medical City.

The Lake Nona Area Council is a joint group consisting of the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce and the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce. It is the goal of this group to bring together business representatives to discuss topics and information that affect both areas at the monthly Coffee Club Nona.
The purpose of The Lake Nona Area Council is to generate strong ties with our neighboring chamber to promote and facilitate local business growth into other potential markets and communities. Please join us for energetic, business-oriented networking that “meets in the middle.”
