Mimi Reggentin, AICP, is the Program Manager for the Orange County Office on Aging that was established in 2001. The Office on Aging, located in the Family Services Department, acts as the County Mayor’s liaison on aging issues and provides staff support to the Commission on Aging. With a vision of “creating positive aging”, Ms. Reggentin has helped the Commission on Aging research and analyze the needs of Central Florida elders. In an effort to connect elders and caregivers to resources, the Office on Aging has developed an extensive educational component that includes print documents, monthly seminars, training programs and two ongoing television shows. Ms. Reggentin is a certified planner with more than 25-years experience. She holds a Master degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa and a Bachelors degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania also in planning.
